Who sources this ingredient
Milled to 100 mesh for cosmetic use
This is the same plant as our standard bhringraj, processed differently. Hair grade is milled to 100 mesh and handled to a tighter cleanliness standard because it goes into oils, masks and leave-on products where grit is felt immediately. Supplement and Ayurvedic buyers should take the standard line and pay less; hair-care formulators should take this one.
The traditional hair-fall component
Bhringraj is the herb the Indian hair-care category is built around, and it is almost never sold alone: it goes with amla for conditioning, shikakai for cleansing and henna for colour. Buyers building that range take the components from one desk so the mesh and lot quality match across them. Wedelolactone is the marker where a specification names one.
