Who sources this ingredient
Gokhru, gokshura, Tribulus terrestris
All three names refer to the same plant and all three appear on purchase orders. We supply the fruit, milled in Sojat, as powder and as whole dried fruit. Bada gokhru is the larger-fruited trade type and is listed separately because buyers who want it usually specify it by name. Organic is available. MOQ is 25 kg, low enough to trial in a formulation.
Ayurvedic and sports nutrition
Two markets. Ayurvedic manufacturers take gokshura as a classical single herb and as a component of traditional formulations. Sports-nutrition brands take Tribulus, usually specifying a saponin figure, in which case an extract rather than a milled fruit powder is what is wanted. Say which tradition you are formulating in and the grade question answers itself.
