Standard, de-oiled, pellets and expeller pressed
Mustard cake is what remains after mustard oil extraction, and how it was extracted decides what you get. Expeller pressed leaves more residual oil, at 7 to 10%, which raises the energy value and the palatability. De-oiled runs at or below 5% fat, which lowers the energy but improves storage life and consistency. Pellets are supplied where handling and feeding equipment need them. All grades run crude protein at 28 to 32%.
A protein and energy supplement for ruminants
The usual buyers are dairy and buffalo operations and sheep and goat farms, using it as a protein and energy supplement alongside forage rather than as a complete feed. Protein at 28 to 32% and the phosphorus content are what feed formulators build around. Moisture is held at or below 12%, which matters more in feed than in most of our catalog because a wet cake in a warm store is a spoilage problem rather than a quality one.
MOQ 500 kg, and why feed ships differently
This line carries a 500 kg minimum against the 100 kg most of the catalog runs, because feed moves in volumes where 100 kg is not a meaningful order. Packing is PP bags or bulk.
