One page, two different purchases
We supply brahmi as whole-herb powder and as extract standardised to 20% or 50% bacosides A and B by HPLC. The powder is what Ayurvedic and traditional formulators want and is far cheaper by weight. The extract is what a nootropic supplement brand wants, because a label claim needs a number. A water-soluble extract grade is available for beverage formats. Naming which you mean is the first thing on a brahmi enquiry.
Bacopa monnieri, and the name collision
Brahmi is used in India for two different plants: Bacopa monnieri and, in some regions, Centella asiatica, which is gotu kola. They are not the same and they are not interchangeable in a formulation. We supply Bacopa monnieri and quote against the binomial. Our gotu kola line covers Centella separately. If a specification you have been sent just says brahmi, send it over and we will confirm which plant is meant.
